UGH! I wasn’t disappointed, ONCE AGAIN! I love this series so much! And the plot twists and the character development were PERFECT! I highly recommend reading this if you love pirates, romance, mermaids, and betrayal!

Ugh these books are so fun and remind me so much of why I love YA so much。 ALOSA is a a GRILBOSS。 Read this in record time and absolutely loved the world building。 Obviously the budding romance helped as well :))

5⭐️ this was so good!! I sped through this so fast! There was not a boring scene in sight。 Of course, Alosa and Riden’s interactions were heartwarming, but this book also gave me a lot of warm fuzzies for each individual crew member & their relationships with one another。 This book was VERY VERY satisfying to read & my heart is full。 It really emphasises that blood is sometimes not thicker than water, and it’s the people you pick up on the way that really makes your life fulfilling。 plus, the wr 5⭐️ this was so good!! I highly recommend the series!! 。。。more

3,75/5。 I enjoyed this book but Alosa’s incabablity to figure her feelings out was kind of irritating after a while and many of the conflicts that came seemed unimpactful since they were basically solved within the same chapter。 Otherwise the book was good and the storylines were good。

loved this book, but there was definitely more tention between riden and alosa in the previous book。 it was more about their adventure to isla de canta。 it also had more loss in this book definitely didn’t cry。 overall i liked how everything turned out and how riden and alosa ended up as well as the crew。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Wow。 This book was most definitely one of the best books I’ve read all year which says a lot because I have read 60 books this year。 I did not want to put it down。 It’s all I could think about for 3 days。 SPOILERS……。I laughed so much in the first few chapters which probably says a lot about me as a person since the first few chapters are about Alosa killing people 😂I almost stopped reading when I thought they killed off little Roslyn。 I genuinely closed the book and just sat in silence for 5 min Wow。 This book was most definitely one of the best books I’ve read all year which says a lot because I have read 60 books this year。 I did not want to put it down。 It’s all I could think about for 3 days。 SPOILERS……。I laughed so much in the first few chapters which probably says a lot about me as a person since the first few chapters are about Alosa killing people 😂I almost stopped reading when I thought they killed off little Roslyn。 I genuinely closed the book and just sat in silence for 5 minutes。 I decided ultimately that I would keep going because I couldn’t stop thinking about how it would end。 The enemies to lovers story line was beautifully done。 The slow burn was everything。 😩 the “I love you’s” didn’t feel forced and there a was good reasons for them to keep the enemies act up。 You really start to see how much Riden cares about Alosa when he can’t stop disobeying her to protect her。 I was so happy with the Pirate King’s death。 I was so happy that the Siren Queen didn’t try to force Alosa to stay with her。 I was very happy that the ending didn’t include Alosa getting pregnant or Alosa and Riden getting married。 I thought the ending was great actually。 I laughed out loud。 Perfect way to end a story about pirates。 All in all I gave this book 5 stars because it deserves it。 My only complaint is that I wish it was a trilogy because I want to go back to this world and their story but I’m very happy with how we left them。 Tricia really wrapped it up nicely。 I didn’t feel like things were forced or happening too quickly and there weren’t any cheesy or predictable plot lines。 Just a fantastic duology。 Probably my favorite duology。 I now have a massive book hangover and don’t know what to read next。 😅 。。。more

This duology was such an enjoyable read。 Daughter of the Siren Queen was a 5 star read for me most of the time。 What brought it down to four was what felt like an incredibly rushed ending that bordered on unrealistic even。 However, I still had loads of fun reading。 If you enjoy pirates and sirens and all things sea then give this duology a go!
